american credit union collection nightmare!

OK, So I'm not a good customer, I was, for over 10 years, Paid on time, paid fee's without complaint. BUT THEN...My life hit some snags, income dropped off a bunch. So now I had to decide.. Eat, pay the house payment, have heat and lights, water, gas money, keep up the truck payments, Insurance and all that goes with living. missed a few Truck payments that were secured at the OGDEN, UTAH AMERICAN FIRST CREDIT UNION. (their slogan is: Helping members).
The AFCU were civil about the loan (at first), I had two trucks financed so I gave one up to the AFCU to reduce the payment and the size of the loan, save on insurance and upkeep. WOW, what a relief, ( I thought).
Then the nightmare started!!! They sold the truck at auction. They received $4000.00 less then it is worth. OK I understand this, Im still responsible for the balance, I can Handle that kick in the butt. I received a new "updated" (one of many to come), with a new balance. WHAT THE HAY!!!! I OWE MORE NOW then before I gave the truck back!!! What with, Preparations for auction charges, Legal consultation (yup, they got a lawyer, No, not a AFCU one, But one that contracts out to them), Charging $275.00 per hour, (I called his office and was told that this lawyer charges, WALK INS $150.00 Per Hour fee). It took him THREE FLIPPING HOURS TO READ THE CONTRACT!!! Then there was STORAGE FEES, THEN TOWING TO THE AUCTION FEES, THEN REPO FEES, ADMIN FEES, CAR WASH FEES. Sure, I called and got nowhere with AFCU COLLECTION Department, IN FACT, My payments were NOT reduced! So...A month goes by and I just could not scrape that payment up. "WE" had agreed to lower them but the Collection department said, CAN-NO-DO. So..Yup you guessed it, I missed the payment. Two weeks go by and LOW AND BEHOLD...A Tow truck pulls in. He wants to take the OTHER truck. OK, Im in this deep. That would help, I asked to see his paper work, WHAT!!! He says he left them HOME!!!???? OK, FINE, Your not getting this truck without some sort of paper. He start ranting, yelling, calling me names, Calling someone on his Cell phone. Ive had just about enough now, so flatly say, get of my land and property or I call the law. More ranting and raving from the tow driver. He's way over the line now, I let my two dogs out, they need to go do a dog thing. I go in and arm myself in case this joker goes ballistics. I go back out, he's yelling into his Cell phone, he let his dogs out!! he let his dogs out!! (they are over on the other side of the lawn taking a dump, (a dogie thing I got to let them out for). He then gets in his Tow Truck and off he roars. Good! I won't need to worry about my safety today. A month goes by, Process server comes up, Hands me paper to go too court. This was expected. The balance owing has increased by $3600.00. I Think I may have angered the collection department. Im a no show in court, (work nets me $60.00 for that day, court nets me nothing for that day). They get a default judgement, I knew that was coming. no surprises here. A week goes by...Process server again, They want my truck again, this time the papers are correct, and off it goes. The auction is in ten days. I have a bit of luck and net some major bucks so show up at the auction, I know what the truck is worth and have the CASH in my pocket. The AFCU collection ladies(?) are there and so is the "EXPENSIVE(?)" Lawyer. We talk, I got the market value of the truck in my pocket....ITS NOT ENOUGH!!! I need the FULL BALANCE or no truck, BUT! BUT! BUT? The Balance now is more then the original balance of the loan, Just like last time, The fee's, and charges are out of this world! The AFCU bids $1.00 and gets the truck. I can get it back if I want by paying in full or it goes to another auction. We talk, Can we come to some sort of arrangement??? the lawyer INSTRUCTS the AFCU to get with me on a solution in the next few days and see if we can agree to a pay-off. Alright, progress I thought.
I wait......dum de dum dummmmm.....Ten days, No calls, no letters, no emails. The truck sells at auction again, this time it nets about half the balance due I learn after another statement. BUT.....YUP, You guessed it, Fees, Rates, lawyer, towing, prep fees and more BS Charges pretty much wipes out the auction sale proceeds. SHOOT, back to square one. I call the collection department to see if they have gotten their "COLLECTIVE MINDS" together and can come up with a reasonable payoff to end this thing. I get a "were working on it". Two weeks go by, Another process server...HERE IT COMES!!!!! They WANT TO SELL MY HOUSE!!! and somehow got a judge to sign off on it. BIG DOO-DOO NOW!!! Now what I ask myself? Kick me from my home, wife, family and all, for a truck loan, whats wrong with this picture??
Another process server shows, says he has a BENCH WARRANT For me, I will need $200.00 to bail out. He asks, wheres my wife, because, he has one for her as well. I go to the Jail and post the $200.00. THIS IS NOW WAY OUT OF CONTROL!
